Arm Pain (Brachalgia) Clearly a multitude of problems can cause arm pain. There are however three methods by which problems in the neck can produce arm pain.
Firstly the joints in the neck can result in pain felt a both in and between the shoulders. This can respond very well to a number of treatments that we offer. The joints are marked in blue here. Secondly the nerves going to the arm can be irritated in the neck by a bone spur, a disc or by stretching. This causes inflammation of the nerve which can respond very well to steroids injected around the nerve itself. The nerves can be seen in yellow here.
