Pain in the region of the sacroiliac joint pain is very common. It can be difficult to distinguish true SI joint pain from other sources of pain such as pain coming from the lumbar discs, lumbar facets or hip joints. Treatment of SI joint p[ain is largely dependant upon determining the cause of the pain. A multi disciplinary approach is essential for hip pain.
